The Hero: Ezio

Say goodbye to the holy land and welcome to turbulent Italy. The new assassin is even faster and more flexible than his ancestor. Ezio Auditore da Firenze in his capacity as a nobleman, womanizer and rake, has far too many enemies in his past that result in a drastic change in his life style. Hunted, by the most powerful families of Italy, he fights his way through Venice, Florence and Rome. Unlike Altair, Ezio does not just take orders but act on his own behalf. So he can arrange his missions by himself and linear storylines are no longer an issue.

Another advantage of Ezio, compared to Altair, is that he is an even better climber than his ancestor was. And Ezio is able to swim which opens him totally new worlds.

In close combat Ezio has some interesting abilities like clouting or kicking his enemies. He is also able to abstract his enemys weapons during the fight. It is proven obvious that Ezio will truly need these new abilities, as the italian guards are far better organized and intelligent than their arabic companions.

Because of that, Ezio has to find some better hiding places than a haystack. Social Stealth is the keyword here. The italian assassin is able to hide himself in a crowd by acting unremarkable.

The young nobleman also has friends, of course. No one less than Leonardo Da Vinci himself provides Ezio with constructed weapons and fabrications. New Hidden Blades as well as a flying apparatus and some other suprises Da Vinci has up his sleeve.
